                     ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (BILINGUAL PREFERRED)

                Full-time (35 hours/week) to June 30th, possibility of extension

 

South-East Ottawa Community Health Centre is a non-profit health and community services agency. The Centre requires a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide program and administrative support to the Health Links Team. Rate of pay $21.93-$26.09/hour.

     QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post secondary training in office management, secretarial or a related program or an equivalent combination of experience & education
  • Three years’ experience in in community health services office administration, preferably in an inter-professional setting & a not-for-profit organization
  • Broad knowledge of primary health care, health promotion, community support services, determinants of health, community health, geriatrics
  • Proven skills with databases and computer software, i.e., electronic health records, Scheduling software, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc
  • Fluency in French and English preferred, other languages an asset
  • Training/familiarity with medical terminology and or medical secretarial skills an asset
  • Strong organizational, time management, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask between different programs and levels of management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Family Physician

Locum (Summer 2019)

South-East Ottawa Community Health Centre is a community-based organization that provides integrated, inter-professional services in the areas of primary health care, social services, and community services.

SEOCHC is seeking a part-time locum to join our interdisciplinary primary care team of family physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and other professionals.

Requirements:

  • Family Physician licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and certified by the College of Family Practice of Canada.
  • Experience in primary care, including community health, hospital and/or family practice desirable.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of seniors and lower income multicultural groups.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Ability to speak in French and/or other languages an asset
  • Familiarity with Nightingale on Demand an asset
  • Salary range: $177,666 to $205,746 pro-rated to FTE (HOOPP eligible)
