SEOCHC News ArchiveSOUTH-EAST OTTAWA NEW YEAR'S EVE BASH Did you know that our Community Support Services for seniors and adults with disabilities are only partly funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care? The Ministry pays about 70% of the costs to run these vital programs, but South-East Ottawa has to raise about $45,000 per year through fundraising to keep them going. Fortunately, we can have fun and raise funds at the same time! Here is an upcoming event: Sunday, December 31st: New Years Eve Gala at Capone’s Banquet Hall, Industrial Avenue. A wonderful evening of food, entertainment, and dancing, with champagne to toast in the New Year! Tickets are $75, and you get a $25 tax receipt. Call 737-5115 to reserve yours. For more information on volunteering, donating or to buy tickets, please contact Jeannie Page, 613-737-7195 ext. 2402
