Becoming a Sponsor of an Event

South-East Ottawa CHC is fortunate to receive a number of grants from government sources as well as foundations and other funding partners (see our Annual Report for details). However, some grants are approved only with the condition that we match the funds provided with money raised from community fundraising events.

We are always interested in linking with businesses that are willing to sponsor one or more of our special events. Sponsors gain recognition as a partner who cares about creating a healthy community, and especially improving the well-being and quality of life of elderly persons in need of social support and assistance to age with grace in their own homes.

Examples of past fundraising events have included our Spring Live and Silent (on-line) Auction and annual concerts by our own choir, "Sisters in Song and a couple of brothers". Sponsors have helped by promoting the event, donating prizes, purchasing tables, and volunteering their time and energy.
