Kelli Tonner has spent the last 25 years of her career working in community corrections, child protection and primarily in community health and social services.  She has worked at South-East Ottawa Community Health Centre for 21 years, the last 12 years in senior management.  She has extensive experience in leadership, administration and strategic relationships.  She has a strong commitment to health equity, accessibility and inclusion and has overseen diverse programs including primary care, early years, community services, health promotion and community development.  She has extensive experience in budget preparation, authorization and control of expenditures as well as project management, and working with multiple funders. Her experiences in the community health sector have helped foster collaborative partnerships and an integrated approach to program planning, service delivery and program evaluation.

In addition to being very committed to her work, Kelli is a fitness enthusiast –often taking part in boot camp and endurance races through mud or up mountains.  She is actively involved in disabled sports and volunteers with sledge hockey and power wheelchair ball hockey.  She has also co-founded a social media site for parents with medically fragile and special needs children. Kelli is married and has a 19-year-old son.
